Types of Air Compressors
Oil-Injected Rotary Screw
The most common industrial compressor type. Oil lubricates and cools the compression element for reliable, efficient operation. Lower upfront cost than oil-free. Suitable for most manufacturing and plant air applications.
Oil-Free Rotary Screw
Zero oil carryover for applications requiring clean, oil-free air. Required for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, electronics, and medical air systems. Higher cost but essential where air purity is critical.
Reciprocating Compressors
