Tate Diversified supplies used industrial centrifuges for separation, dewatering, and clarification applications across chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and environmental industries. We carry decanter centrifuges, basket centrifuges, and disc stack centrifuges from leading manufacturers. All units are inspected and tested before sale.
Types of Centrifuges
Decanter Centrifuges
Continuous separation of solids from liquids using a rotating bowl and internal scroll conveyor. Ideal for high-volume dewatering of sludge, slurries, and waste streams. Used in wastewater treatment, food processing, and chemical manufacturing.
Basket Centrifuges
Batch operation centrifuges where material is loaded into a perforated basket. Solids are retained while liquid passes through. Used for crystal separation, pharmaceutical intermediates, and fine chemical production.
Disc Stack Centrifuges
High-speed separators using a stack of conical discs to create thin liquid layers for efficient separation. Excellent for liquid-liquid separation, clarification, and concentration. Common in dairy, beverage, and oil processing.
Brands We Carry
We source centrifuges from all major manufacturers:
Common Applications
Industrial centrifuges are essential for solid-liquid separation across many industries:
- Wastewater Treatment - Sludge dewatering, biosolids processing, and effluent clarification
- Chemical Processing - Crystal harvesting, catalyst recovery, and intermediate separation
- Food & Beverage - Juice clarification, oil extraction, dairy cream separation, and starch processing
- Pharmaceutical - API separation, intermediate purification, and solvent recovery
- Oil & Gas - Drilling mud treatment, produced water, and oil-water separation
- Environmental - Industrial waste treatment, remediation, and sludge handling
Inspected & Tested Centrifuges
Every used centrifuge we sell undergoes a comprehensive inspection and testing process.
✓ Performance Verified
Each centrifuge is inspected and tested before shipment.
Testing includes:
- Bowl and basket condition inspection
- Bearing check and lubrication verification
- Motor testing and amp draw measurement
- Vibration analysis at operating speed
- Seal and gasket inspection
